Short Brief of the Project:
It is an international young professional exchange project funded by the Norwegian Agency for Exchange Cooperation (Norec). The exchange of international young professionals between Bangladesh, Nepal, and India will contribute to developing the capacity of the organizational staff in dealing with the issues of sexual and reproductive health. The knowledge of good practices on menstruation and puberty changes as well as the issues related to SRHR will be strengthened among the organization through the exchange. The expertise which has been developed through knowledge sharing will be reflected during the individual organization's intervention area for bringing visible change at the community level.

Short Achievement:
Developed Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights Training manual, which is acknowledged by the Vidyasagar School of Social work, Vidyasagar University.
Conducted a study on the status of Adolescent SRHR and the understanding of development professionals on the issues in India.
Facilitated 3 days TOT training on ASRHR to capacitate CSOs.
Formalized and facilitated 2 days of documentation skill development training for CSOs.
Trained 305 teacher’s from 15 schools on Adolescent Development.
Lead the project titled “Promoting Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights through Exchange Expertise Project”.
Conducted several campaigns on child protection issues.
Designed and drive capacity building action and partnership strategy to make a visible change in knowledge, practice, and policy level.
Participated in different seminars, workshops, training on child protection, child education, human trafficking, human rights, peace, and justice issues.
Key Roles & Responsibility:
Ensure rapid roll-out and supervision of activities. This includes leadership, direction, and guidance to partner organizations.
Conduct training needs assessment, design and develop training modules, curriculum's, manuals, other training materials, different project guidelines, and prepare training completion report.
Facilitate training, meetings, workshop with Youth Organization, CSOs staffs and other potential project stakeholders;
Evaluate and follow up on training, capacity building, and advocacy support activities to reinforce capacities, assess impact, and building partnerships and networks.
Capacity building of the partner organizations members and CSOs on the areas of SRHR, Gender-Based violence, child protection, networking, advocacy, financial management, and organization develop;
Consult with other resource persons, CSOs, and project staffs to ensure that training, capacity building, and advocacy support initiatives are relevant and adapted to the situation and needs of target groups.
Effectively work with other consortium members to assure a coordinated and timely execution of work plans.
Oversee planning, quality assurance, and supervision of program monitoring, evaluating, and reporting.
Provide oversight of delivery, management, and monitoring of partner organizations.
Provides oversight of financial management and procurement.
Coordinate with appropriate stakeholders in all aspects of project planning, monitoring, and implementation.
Ensure compliance with and implementation of all NOREC project-specific policies.
Manage partnerships with international organizations, consultants, local authorities, and civil society organizations.
Supervise the implementation of project technical activities by consortium members, ensuring that all activities are adequately implemented in a timely fashion and that they adequately address youth skill development and social cohesion needs.
Provide technical leadership across the capacity-building work of partners and technical lead on advocacy/accountability and research.
Monitor project training and on-site capacity building activities, ensuring the development of local institutional and personal capacities fostering country ownership and sustainability of interventions.

Project Goal:
The Goal of the project is to create awareness of the Communality People & the Local Government Organization & the Civil Society about sexual exploitation of children on travel & in tourism & online. Protect children from sexual exploitation & Enable community people & civil society to establish child Rights.
Objectives:
The overall objective of the project is to protect children from online sexual exploitation and in travel and tourism, visualizing the issue at national and international level through research, advocacy, and awareness. It aims to create online protection for children and introduce child safeguards in travel and tourism.
Empowers the children and mobilizes families and communities to prevent children from abuses and exploitation.
Roles and Responsibility : Project Coordinator
Oversee all project activities and be the main contact point for the donor and the field staff
Ensure project activities comply with the policies and regulations of the donor organization.
Responsible for overseeing the development and execution of project deliverables, lead project planning, budgeting, action plans, and monitoring processes.
Responsible for submitting activity reports, meeting minutes, and financial reports regularly to the donor.
Oversee the preparation and submission of annual activity-based project budgets as well as monthly and quarterly financial reports and sending of new funding requests.
Lead and motivate the project team and monitor project activities and project expenditure and coordinate work with consultants and volunteers in the project
Employs resourcefulness in project design, implementation, and monitoring. Troubleshoots project problems. Identifies and implements creative solutions.
Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality
Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase.
Regular Filed visit need to the project area, monitoring project activities & share findings & take positive action.

Lobby with the Government to adopt the CoC
Advocacy with the school management committee to take sessions on the safe internet use of children using the handbook.
Submission of memorandum to incorporate the issues on safe internet use in the curriculum at the secondary level to DC/UNO/DEO(District Education Officer)
Develop IEC materials on safe internet
Raise voice on the issue of sexual harassment through the meeting, campaigns and advocacy Initiatives
Capacity building of community members to organize awareness-raising campaign in the working areas
Introduce dialogue sessions between community members with local government.
Establish Network between child rights defenders among the service provider (GO/NGO) to take immediate steps.

Project Goal: The main goal of the Girls Adovocacy Alinace (GAA) Programme is to ensure that, by 2020, girls and young women in 10 countries in Asia and Africa will no longer face gender-based violence and economic exclusion. To initiate sustainable changes, the GAA aims to influence key stakeholders in national governments and intergovernmental agencies, the private sector, Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and local communities. Moreover, the GAA will strengthen and train girls and young women, as well as their respective organisations, to stand up for their rights.
The Girls Advocacy Alliance is committed to equal rights and opportunities for girls and young women and focuses on: ° ending gender-based violence in the forms of the commercial sexual exploitation of children, sexual violence and abuse, female genital mutilation, child trafficking and child marriage; ° eliminating economic exclusion by promoting access to post-primary education, technical vocational education and training, decent work, and female entrepreneurship. The alliance is applying an advocacy and lobby strategy, shifting between different policy-influencing instruments and approaches (advising, advocacy, lobbying, activism) to push for the implementation of existing legislation and policies on girls’ and young women’s rights by national and local governments. Operationalize the Consortium agreement, review meetings, and follow-up on agreed items as well as project start-up meetings with all key stakeholders.
Provide strong servant leadership, encourage, support, coach and mentor the project team, ensuring capacity is built and appropriate results are attained.
Develop and ensure appropriate tools and strategy to monitor the progress and quality and impact of the project and is implemented

Networking and Advocacy:
Develop strategic relationship and partnership with key stakeholders at National, Regional and District Level.
Interact, build and nurture effective working relationships with relevant GO/NGOs, United Nations Agencies, and Civil Society Organizations in order to foster coordination, collaboration and partnership.
Serve as a resource person for disseminating knowledge and skills to GO/NGO and other institutions on the particular issues.
Established adequate referral linkage of project target groups with the appropriate service providers, policy makers and other stakeholders.
Efficient systems in place will intend to qualitatively impact the relationships with donors and other beneficiaries.
Documentation and Reporting:
Monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual and other program and financial reports prepared and in placed and documented in time aligning with project design and donor requirement.

The improved implementation of legislation and public policies and the improvement of the practices of governmental actors: policies, action plans, budgets and protocols will effectively help girls and young women enjoy equal rights and opportunities, and benefit equally from development outcomes.
Improved policies and practices of corporate and private sector actors: market leaders or branch associations of the private sector will be actively engaged in involving girls and young women in education and decent work.
Increased public support and awareness: communities will offer better protection and opportunities to girls and young women. The general public will be made aware of the consequences of gender-based violence against girls and young women and their economic exclusion.
Increased influence of CSOs and networks (particularly girls’ and young women’s organisations) on government and corporate/private-sector actors: civil society networks and organisations will act as agents of change for gender equality and they will play an active role in engaging and mobilizing communities.
Ensuring equal rights and opportunities for girls and young women is all about changing social norms and practices. Girls’ and young women’s rights will be underscored by laws and policies that are effectively implemented and enforced by those responsible. Girls and young women will be protected and supported by their communities, and by active organisations that speak out against violations and injustice, and hold those in power to account.
